Howdy from Deep in the Heart
of Texas
Welcome to my Website.
Twinkle!
Twinkle Oh You Many Stars!
At an early
age, an age I call primal selection, this multi-talented artist and sentient
being was conceived and imprinted with too many things to do. Life proves
to be an adventure as I pop into brave new worlds of sounds, sights and
light images. One scene after the other of colorful happenings guides
me musing through the maze of heavenly daze.
Native Texan, photographer, writer, poet, clothing designer,
herbologist, gardener, massage therapist and health care professional,
born in San Antonio, and received a B.S. degree from The University of
Texas at Austin. Again living in Texas after having previously lived in
San Francisco for over two decades where I hung out in the Haight, Golden
Gate Park, Mount Tamalpais and Venture Lodge in Pescadero and proceeded
to photograph the Bay Area while taking classes at City College of San
Francisco in Photography plus a few more in Physics and French. More recently,
I completed studies at Austin Community College in Architectural Photography,
Photoshop and more in digital imaging. Now I am deeply involved with Macromedia
Studio MX.
Since moving back to Austin in 1995, I have been writing
prose and poetry along with a few speeches. I have been developing colorful
poems and black & white ones too. I have been exploring "Memories
of Blindness", living with "Faceless Faces" and "Working
My Way Through Culture" using my exhibited photographic images to
tell stories, make political statements, and/or point out dramatic life
lessons.
I have practical experience in small, medium and large
camera formats. Portraiture, photo illustration, computer imaging and
knowledge of creating images in alternative non-silver processes are my
specialties.
I can be found most days and evenings recording the
Austin scene for memory and on film. Photographic images combined with
poetry and prose can be viewed here!
